My wife and I have been associated with Pat Weber for over 15 years. Pat completed a estate plan for our family and has updated it several times at a very reasonable fee. In addition to assisting us with our estate planning, Pat has given us good family legal advise and direction. Recently, we hav...e turned to Pat Weber to execute a trust for our parents. We are very pleased with Pat's service and concider his fees to be reasonable. We do not concided Pat Weber's services to be "boiler plate". Pat Weber has offered sound advice specific to our needs.

In 2001 Mr. Weber drafted five estate documents for me:1) will, 2) living trust, 3) health care POA, 4) durable POA, 5) living will. At that time the cost was $1,200 to prepare the original documents. In 2011, I made minor revisions such as changing the successor trustee on trust and POA documents a...nd minor changes to the will. He billed 5.5 hrs work for these minor revisions at $625/2.5hrs of his time and $690/3 hrs for his partner's time! Total bill for minor revisions plus costs=$1,324.16. Besides the fact that his rate is ridiculous for the work he did (it's not like he kept me off death row), and I question that it would have taken so long in the age of computers, I wonder why he would not use a $20/hr secretary for editorial work and then he can charge to review and meet. I have since retrieved my original signed estate documents from his office. I would not want my family to have to deal with him should I die.
