I handle an intellectual property practice in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical fields. I work very closely with biotechnology and emerging growth companies to brew up successful new business models and execute strategic intellectual property protection.

I work closely with biotechnology and emerging growth companies to structure their IP-related transactional deals. I regularly represent clients in the negotiation of licensing agreements and agreements of acquisition, development and commercialization of products in a variety of industries as well as in structuring and negotiating partnering transactions including, e.g., commercialization agreements and joint ventures.

Patent services include strategic patent planning and counseling, evaluation of existing patent and trade secret assets (IP audits), preparation and prosecution of patent applications (in the US and internationally), licensing of patent and trade secret assets, freedom-to-practice evaluations for new products, and litigation of patent and trade secret assets. I work in a broad range of technology areas including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical diagnostics, and biomedical processes.
