Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) Claim

Client is a 58-year old woman with arthropathy in her back and neck. She worked as a hairdresser and home caregiver. The client applied for social security disability on her own in Dec 2018 and hired m ... e after her application was denied. We filed an appeal and collected her up-to-date medical records and obtained the necessary evidence. We submitted all evidence along with a multi-page persuasive brief that I drafted to the Judge. After waiting for many months, she had her hearing in June 2020. We received a Fully Favorable Decision from the Judge in July 2020. She was awarded over $35,000 in "retroactive benefits", will now be receiving her monthly disability benefit check, and is now eligible for Medicare insurance.
