Stephen G. Lawson

A life long Cincinnati resident, Mr. Lawson graduated from Xavier University and received his law degree from the Northern Kentucky University, Salmon P. Chase College of Law.  Excelling academically during law school, he was awarded the dean's list throughout and graduated with honors. 

Prior to receiving his law degree, Mr. Lawson served the citizens of Cincinnati and Hamilton County for 16 years as a criminal investigator, receiving 11 letters of commendation and 8 awards from various public officials and professional organizations for investigative skill, volunteer work with children and assisting outside agencies.  As an investigator, he has conducted over 1000 investigations that have been prosecuted in both state and federal courts.  

Mr. Lawson has been active in real estate development in Cincinnati for the past 10 years. As an investor, he is familiar with all aspects of development, from acquisition and contract negotiation and drafting, to rehabilitation and operation of the finished property.  He has represented various types of clients relating to real estate claims, including those involved in purchase and sales transactions, as well as both sides of landlord tenant disputes. As a consultant, he has assisted small business owners through the process of real estate acquisition and development.  

Mr. Lawson has experience assisting government agencies with various tasks, including: employee training, drafting and review of policy and procedure, preparing grant applications, assessment of liability,  general document review and public records requests.
