If ICE has a hold, it is unlikely paying the criminal bond will get him our of j jail unless ICE fails to pick him up in 48hours and the jail lets...

no, you do not NEED to, but hiring a lawyer can help you prevent mistakes... this oculd be a once in a lifetime opportunity, why risk it?
