Mark J. Jahnke

Mark's practice is concentrated in business law with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. He has represented a number of our clients in significant acquisition, recapitalization and disposition transactions. Mark handles a variety of matters relating to business organizations including formation, organizational structure, owner/shareholder relationships, business succession and related issues.

Mark also represents a number of public company and private equity sponsored company C-level executives on employment, equity and compensation matters.

Mark also represents a number of physicians and physician groups and has handled the sale and consolidation of several medical groups.

In addition to serving as President and CEO of our firm, Mark is a member of advisory boards for several of our clients as well as other local businesses and community organizations.

Mark is listed in Woodward/White’s Best Lawyers in America® (Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions Law) and is also listed in Chambers USA – America’s Leading Lawyers for Business for Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions (Tier 1 - Top 5 Lawyers in Ohio).

Mark has consistently been recognized by Law & Politics Media, Inc., as an Ohio Super Lawyer® and as one of the "Top 50 Lawyers in Cincinnati" and one of the "Top 100 Lawyers in Ohio."

Mark is General Counsel for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and is a member of the Chamber’s Board and Executive Committee. He was a member of Class XXVIII of Leadership Cincinnati.

Mark has led our firm’s United Way campaign for several years and has helped keep our firm as the community leader in terms of per capita giving. Mark and his wife have held a number of leadership positions with United Way and are currently Co-Chairs of Success by Six, a United Way initiative focused on strengthening pre-school education. Mark is also a member of the Board of Directors of United Way of Greater Cincinnati. Mark received the 2008 Neil H. McElroy Award from United Way of Greater Cincinnati for his leadership in United Way resource development.

In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his four children and growing number of grandchildren.
