Kimberly Lewis Beck

I have spent nearly 20 years handling complex civil litigation from both sides of the courtroom.

For the first 13 years of my career, I represented corporations and other defendants at major defense firms, including Dinsmore and Ulmer & Berne (now UB Greensfelder). My practice included defending pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in complex products liability litigation.

I later changed sides and joined the plaintiffs’ firm Hilliard, Martinez, Gonzales in Texas, where I learned to apply my defense experience to representing injured individuals. In 2020, I returned home to Cincinnati and founded Beck Law Center, where I now represent plaintiffs in serious injury and products liability cases.

Today, my products liability practice is broader than pharmaceuticals. I represent people injured by defective and unsafe products, including cases involving consumer and household products, children’s products, pharmaceuticals, and other products that cause serious injuries. I am particularly interested in cases involving children injured by defective or unsafe products.

My background on the defense side gives me a perspective that I believe is valuable to my clients. I spent years learning how corporations and their lawyers investigate product claims, develop defenses, work with experts, challenge causation, and evaluate cases. I now use that experience exclusively on behalf of plaintiffs.

My products liability practice is national, and I have represented clients in more than 40 states.

I also represent individuals who have suffered serious or catastrophic injuries in automobile accidents and other incidents involving significant injuries, complicated medical issues, or substantial damages. My personal injury practice outside of national products liability matters is focused on Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia, where I am licensed to practice law.

Over the course of my career, I have handled cases involving complex medical and scientific evidence, expert witnesses, causation, product design and safety, failure to warn, regulatory issues, and serious injuries.

My goal is straightforward: to combine the experience I gained representing sophisticated corporate defendants with a plaintiff-focused practice that gives individuals the same level of careful preparation, strategic thinking, and determined advocacy.
