As a former tax consultant with one of the large public accounting firms, Dan has advised hospitals, educational institutions, public charities, and private foundations on their tax and operational concerns, including obtaining tax-exempt status recognition with the IRS, analysis of unrelated business income concerns, and tax return compliance.

Dan assists clients with issues involving bank financing documentation, foreclosure, and collections.

In his real estate practice, Dan Dutro advises his clients on commercial and residential real estate transactions, drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, leases, easements, and covenants and restrictions, along with advising and addressing title and survey issues.
