Charles Edward Rust

Depending on when and where you know him from, Chuck Rust answers to Chuck, Charlie, or Charles. He is an associate with the litigation practice group at Robbins, Kelly, Patterson & Tucker. His practice is diverse and has included general litigation, business disputes, real estate, employment law and restrictive covenants, appellate issues, and eminent domain. Admitted in both Ohio and Kentucky, Chuck is intentional about having variety in his practice and enjoys learning new things on a daily basis.

Born and raised in Northern Kentucky, Chuck graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2013. He went on to study law at Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 2017. During his time at Chase, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, was a member of the National Arbitration Team, and was part of the inaugural class of the W. Bruce Lunsford Academy for Law, Business, and Technology Honors Program.

Before joining RKPT, Chuck handled a wide array of cases in both state and federal courts and consistently obtained positive results for his clients. He approaches his practice with intellectual curiosity and strives to exceed his clients’ expectations. The most satisfying part of his practice is getting to dig deep and become an expert on unexpected topics.

Chuck resides in Alexandria, Kentucky with his wife and young daughter and spends his free time with family, honing his cooking skills, or exercising.
