I used Scott for a case of underage drinking because I was referred by a friend that he does many DUI cases and I assumed that my case should hopefully be easier than a DUI. When I met with him we went over what had happened that night and that the cop was a bit out of line in terms of handing the pr...oblem. He explained how I could have handled the situation better if it should occur ever again and all my possible outcomes with my case. He was spot on on what the judge would say and offer me which was community service and a clean record. I took his advice to complete the program and he handled everything else. Would use him again. Also the days I went to court, he had 7 other cases in the same courtroom with other people. The judge greeted Scott with much respect and had mentioned that he would be spending more cases scheduled that day with Scott. It was nice to see that he was a very popular choice and that the judge was willing to make a deal with my case at Scott’s request. Great outcome. I would use him again. Very knowledgeable with my case.

I hired him to represent me in a criminal case to prove my innocence in allegations of child endangerment. I had never been in any trouble before and was recommended by a family member. He listened to all of the details and gave me all possible scenarios that could happen. Very quick to return calls.... Case was thrown out and we got everything we wanted and then some. Would use him again if needed!

I went to Rose and Dobbins with a nod from my neighbor who was a previous Judge for the county. I met with Scott to interview him and that was the ONLY time we met before my temporary orders hearing. I had to initiate contact every time and he could only be reached by email. I wasn't prepped on how t...o answer anything, infact, I wasn't sure where to even go for the hearing. He failed to offer proof of my ex drug history or even ask me questions about it. Basically our only card to hold over my ex was the fact that he's a current drug user with a history of drug use. But the judge threw out the compliance for drug testing because there wasn't any "need". He didn't even tell me to start keeping a log or calendar of my visits with my daughter, that's kind of law 101... My ex showed up very prepared with two witnesses and evidence. We weren't prepared at all and now I'm playing catch-up with my new lawyer. He doesn't charge much but that's mostly because he doesn't do much. Don't go to him if you are new to the court system and need actual guidance or if you are really passionate about your case!
