James Edward Schroeder III

In the fall of 2012 Jim opened up his own firm, Law Offices of James E. Schroeder in Egg Harbor City where he also serves as the President of the local Chamber of Commerce and holds several municipal appointments in nearby communities.  Jim worked as an associate with Long, Marmero of Woodbury from 2008 until the fall of 2012. 

Later the firm moved to offices in downtown Hammonton.

Jim's clients include Municipalities, large nonprofits, Homeowners and Education Associations and other private clients.  Jim exclusively handles all short sale negotiation for a dozen chosen realtors in the Atlantic-Burlington-Camden county area.

Jim has an extensive background serving municipalities and their citizens.  He previously Prosecutor for Estell Manor and Port Republic in Atlantic County.  He is the solicitor for Deptford Township Municipal Utilities Authority and formerly the City of Millville.  Jim previously served as Solicitor for the Combined Land Use Boards of Estell Manor, Buena Vista Township, Egg Harbor City and Hammonton and currently serves as the Galloway Township Zoning Board Solicitor.  He has and continues to serve and advise municipalities and counties in southern New Jersey as Solicitor and General Counsel.

In 2019 Jim was selected as the Interim Executive Director of the Deptford Township Municipal Utilities Authority.

Jim is very active in the community and he serves on numerous boards and consults with not- for-profit organizations and community development projects. Jim completed the vigorous program at Duke University in Non-Profit Leadership and is employing the skills he developed to help southern New Jersey organizations increase capacity and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
