Hired this attorney for a divorce case. Was great at telling me what would happen and how good of a case I had. Then she turned on me and everything she said was for the benefit of my now ex. When she began agreeing with him I fired her and hired another attorney. Paid her flat rate for divorce p...roceedings, $9000.00. Another 2500.00 due if it went to trial. Paid her the $2500.00 day before I fired her and she refused to return my money. It never went to trial. Filed a complaint with State Bar Assoc. and manage to get back half of the money. I furnished all the paper work needed for the case, the only thing she did was filed papers to the court. She cannot be trusted to have your best interest. Does nothing to actually help you. Would not recommend her to my worst enemy. Lesson learned.

How is this person still practicing law? She makes promises, lies, avoids clients like they have the plaque, does not keep appointments and then uses fake excuses as to why she was not available. She does not fight for her clients, whatever the other side decides they want to do, she goes along with... it. She will not win your case. High dollar and gives bad advice, and no action. She needs to be disbarred. Why hasn't someone sued her for the way she handled their case or should I say, the way she doesn't do her job in handling a case? I would give her less than one star if that was available.

Julie should be in jail. She is a danger to the community and all families she comes in contact with. Julie and Dr. Smiley take money from the county when the court system appoints them and anyone that actually hires them with damaging outcome for all parties win or lose. They will keep you in court ...battling as long as possible. Do not hire or allow her on your case! She’s a lier and theft!

This lawyer needs to be disbarred. She is the worst. High priced, lies, does not keep appointments, does not return calls and will get you in court and throw you to the dogs. She talks about how "stupid" the lawyer is on the other side but yet she will sell you out. She is not to be trusted, feeds... you a line of BS and does nothing. She charges a very high price and then does nothing she says she will do. She is all smiles and full of promise until you hire her and then she will avoid you at all cost. In essence, she takes your money and runs. She will not win your case. Hire her and you are sure to not only lose your case but your money as well.

Does not call back or respond to emails in a timely manner. Things she says will happen do not. Was told by her to my relative that she had shared custody and did not explain this and it was not even true. Did not care to do anything about it when asked. Would get another lawyer but already paid her.... Also tried to double bill. do not waste your time or money!
