Naturalization
Mar 19, 2024OUTCOME: Case was resolved in favor of my client
My client retained my services a few months ago concerning her naturalization application, which was initially denied. After listening to her and analyzing her case, I concluded that she had a very goo ... d chance of becoming a naturalized citizen of the United States. Therefore, I refiled her application, attended the interview with her, and explained to the officer that the previous denial was erroneous. Her application was subsequently approved. The initial denial stemmed from the manner in which she received her green card through her father, who had obtained it based on employment. Although her father continued working for the same company after receiving his green card, there was a miscommunication regarding the type of work he performed compared to what was listed on the labor certification application. I was able to resolve this discrepancy, leading to her joy at becoming a U.S. citizen. I have been handling all aspects of immigration cases for over 30 years, ranging from removal/deportation proceedings to simpler tasks such as filing for an employment authorization card application. We process a significant number of waivers and tackle very complex cases, managing everything from straightforward to highly complicated cases.
