Litigation against the International Company for contamination of water in the Mid-Ohio Valley from the chemical C8. More than 3550 plaintiff's complained of injuries including kidney and testicular ca ... ncer, ulcerative colitis, thyroid disease, pregnancy induced hypertension and high cholesterol. The litigation began in the fall of 2012, three bellwether cases were tried to verdict with Plaintiffs winning all three. The first case was appealed to the 6th Circuit court of appeals. The 4th trial was underway and the appeal pending when the settlement was reached.
