Rita K Johnson

I hired Rita K Johnson for a straight forward probate case where I was assigned an executor. She complicated it through extremely bad advise and took $7000.00 and refused to appear in the court, insisting that she could handle it on the phone which she could not. As a result, because my executersh...ip was challenged by my cognitively impaired sibling who was bitter and Rita Johnson had all the ammunition, medical records, documents to present to the judge, but because she refused to attend( "traffic to too busy"), I was not assigned the executor and the case went to mediation and will go for trial at exuberant expense. Clearly, the laweyrs will be happy to rack up the bills. I took her off the case and will move on to a competent attorney. She did not respond to any messages and only bothers you when she wants you to pay. She is utterly confrontational and disrespectful. I knew she was bad news, but my husband told me to stay with her till the case was decided. Bad decision. He regrets his comments now. Stay away from this attorney. She will mess up your life and her advice is destructive.
