This man was condescending and rude during intial consultation. He acted as if i were a lunactic when i was just asking questions and upset due to my current situation, as anyone would be. he told me the initial would be "no charge.". when i got up to leave he said he would "bill me." he called back ...to say "he would have to talk to my therapist" before agreeing to work with me. a bg turn off. run, dont walk away i send a note back saying he said it was free and never heard from him again. he seemed like he belonged in a new age meditation camp rather than divorce court. unrealistic and unempathetic. do not recommend. dont was your money

Maury represented me during the dissolution of my marriage. I found him to be honest, calm and equally considerate of both parties during the process. He gently guided me through this unfamiliar and difficult life event so that I understood all of my options and decisions. He knew when to give me r...oom to consider and negotiate the arrangement. He became a trusted partner and counselor. If you must dissolve your marriage, Collaborative law is the process to use and Maury is excellent at its application. I hired Maury to be my lawyer for the dissolution of my marriage. I liked that he specializes in collaborative law because I wanted the process to be as amicable as possible between my ex-wife and I so we could continue to function as parents after the divorce. Maury isn't a crazy pitbull lawyer.... Look elsewhere if you want someone who is going to fight tooth and nail for every single penny and try to win every battle on every issue. He is very calm, reassuring, and does a nice job keeping everyone's emotions in check and he is willing to compromise to help reach the stated goals. I might have been able to get a slightly better deal in my dissolution if I had a lawyer that went in guns blazing, but I didn't want that. I wanted to make the process go as smoothly as possible, not cause any more pain than necessary, and develop an agreement that would be the best for my son. Maury helped me do that and I am grateful for his assistance in getting me through this difficult time in my life.
