Biography
Ryan Nelson is a battle-tested trial attorney with more than two decades on the front lines of the courtroom. After earning his degrees from Wittenberg University and University of Cincinnati, he spent 23 years at the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, rising to Assistant Chief Prosecuting Attorney and trying well over 100 jury trials—including murder, rape, robbery, arson, and other high-stakes felony cases.
Ryan knows how the prosecution builds cases—because he did it. Now he uses that insider knowledge to attack the state’s case, challenge evidence, and defend clients facing serious charges. His experience in DUI/OVI law is especially deep; he has trained law enforcement and prosecutors across Ohio and handled complex, high-exposure cases, including DUI-related homicides.

Exceptional Service
