Roger D. Staton

I had mr. Staton as my attorney after I was charged with some really bad stuff that I was not guilty of. I was given a attorney from the court that I winded up filing a motion to get him removed from my case because he was not doing his job and I could tell that he was not on my side at all the firs...t thing he said to me was well it's hard to prove even if it happened I looked at him and said well it didnt happen and right then i knew if I didnt speak up I would be stuck with this attorney that didnt have my best interests so he got all mad came out the judges chambers talkin bout they said you filed a motion to have me taken off the case I said yes I did he got all mad said " well thier not going to grant you another attorney i said well ill be my own attorney before I use you so the judge in fact did take him off my case now that's where mr. Staton came in I also remember the first thing mr.Staton said to me in that him and Rachel hutzle was not friends and asked me what was going on I told him we were taking it to trial and the state nolle the charges on the day of the trial mr.staton you saved my life straight up you went in there they offered deal after deal we turned them down and they nolle on the day of trial i i thank you mr. Staton and I appreciate everything you done for me you were very respectful treated me well and done a excellent job thank you again . Dennis .

Mr. Staton provided excellent representation a few years ago when I was charged with a serious moving violation. The charges were dismissed on lack of evidence due in no small part to Mr. Staton's courtroom demeanor and cross examination of the officer who issued the ticket (who incidentally was not... witness to said violation). Not only were the charges dropped but as we left the courtroom a bystander requested his business card; apparently impressed by Mr. Staton's presentation. I have since employed Mr. Staton on a number of smaller issues from contract negotiation to legal advice and counseling.
