Dennis Lee Adams

Dennis has represented me in 3 OVI cases over that past 2 years in southwest Ohio courts. He came highly recommended to me by a family friend in 2012. In my first case charged with OVI, I must admit he lived up to his reputation as a " Beast"! I had no frame of reference to compare his skills in... court to as I've never been a party to the court system to this point. Despite the State having a strong case, he was able to negotiate a reduction to disregard of safety plea which I was happy to accept. Unfortunately I would soon need his services again less than a year after my first OVI arrest, and while the case against me this time was much weaker, I knew I better call Dennis! I was impressed how hard Dennis worked for me, I worried he might have been disappointed with me for having blown the 2nd chance he gave me only months earlier. Dennis was simply amazing cross examining the State Trooper in our Suppression hearing. It's strange but I actually felt proud of him watching him absolutely crushing the state's case as he seemed to turn the rookie on the stand from a test-i-lier to testifier. The embellishment s and misrepresentations all too common by police working for a conviction simply wouldn't fly with Dennis that day, and everyone in the Court that day knew the officer had no choice but to start telling it like it was. There really was just a moment where the officer just flipped the script and started answering questions with candid honesty that he and everyone in court knew would doom the case. WOW! We were able to win our motion to suppress and walk out of court with a marked lanes fine only.He was so impressive that day I almost regretted winning before seeing Dennis in action before a Jury Trial. My father and I felt that the added cost of taking it to trial if the case somehow wasn't dropped would have at least been worth the price of admission to watch Dennis try this case before a jury. So I him another case. The weakest of the 3 for the state, but none the less Dennis aggressively defended me a third time. Dennis never judged me or lectured me and never made me feel ashamed having screwed up yet AGAIN. Dennis just likes to win, you can sense it, because he doesn't hide it. Despite defending a total loser as of late, he works his tail off to bring home a winner. I'm incredibly grateful to this man. Words will never express how much he meant to me in a troublesome time in my life. I hope I never have to see his intimidating ugly mug again, because I'm working so hard to change my life for the better and not squander the 2nd and 3rd chance he afforded me.
