Nadia Ramirez was a 19 year old mother who developed sepsis from a neck infection that left her unable to care for her 18 month old son and she and her mother Alice Marquez went to Dr. Jerry Sobel, a p ... ain management doctor for help as Nadia's chief complaint was unrelenting neck pain. Dr. Sobel failed to follow the safety guidelines of a competent pain management doctor and as a result she died. Alice Marquez was rejected by TWENTY law firms here in the Phoenix area before she found me. She only had two weeks left of the statute of limitations to file a lawsuit! I filed the lawsuit and I fought for Alice and her grandson for three years. The malpractice insurance company refused to settle, thinking that they had a strong defense. In a three week trial, all of the "defenses" were destroyed and the Jury found for Alice Marquez and her grandson AND they awarded her the two of them 5 MILLION DOLLARS!!
