Client was charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor. Case was initially dismissed after client was allowed to do 24 hours of community service. Client moved to Virginia afterwards and received noti ... ce of an arrest warrant due to another charge. Client did not want to be arrested if she ever came back to California. After reviewing discovery of new case and comparing it to old case, it was definitely a duplicate filing. Was able to pull file and appear without Client being present and had the duplicate filing dismissed in the interests of justice.
