Joann Patricia Hoard

We retained Joann Hoard as our attorney in 2008 to represent us in an attempt to establish child support/visitaion. We went for our initial consultation and in the middle of the consultation her cellular phone rang constantly with a very tacky ring tone. This made us a little apprehensive, but agains...t better judgement we hired her. She made numerous promises of being able to get us adequate visitation as well as a 'fair' settlement on child support. None of which ever materialized. She missed several court appearances and we were unable to ever contact her via phone. At one point we were calling her office every hour, on the hour, in an attempt to reach her. In the end we ended up settling the case ourselves with the opposing parties attorney. She did absolutly nothing but collect her fee. Very dissatisfied with her services and would never recommend her to anyone I like.
