Worker also claimed non-compliant meal and rest breaks because he was the only one on duty until the next care worker arrived.

Represented worker in Labor Commission. Worker was employed by a smog shop for almost two years and spent a little over one year working 60 hours a week at $350 per week. Employer tried to argue that ... worker was an independent contractor and in the alternative owner of the shop.
