Linda Rengel Van Tine

Unfortunately, I never got to meet with Linda. After calling and speaking with the receptionist, she advised me to bring all my documents for Linda to review. This was to be followed up with an appointment. After 3 weeks of no response, I called & left a message. Expecting a callback...never happened.... After an entire month I requested my paperwork back and I am going elsewhere. The receptionist responded that Linda was out of the office for 2 weeks. With all due respect, maybe some sort of communication could have been attempted, if you even knew your pending clients! (this has been a very emotional time to begin with for my elderly parents, losing their son and we were looking for guidance and support)

My father died several years ago and Ms. Van Tine handled the estate. Early this year, I discovered that she (and apparently her staff) failed to completely dispose of my father's assets, including an unclaimed, still-open bank account. It was a mess trying to figure out who on her staff did or did...n't do what and it took forever for it to get it straightened out...meanwhile I had to take donations to pay for his burial and funeral as I was told this bank account was closed and void of funds! My father (and Rengel) hired her, not me, and I do not recommend her. Too many people on staff, apparently no one doing her job.

Linda Van Tine is unprofessional to the finest of its forms. She has been my trustee since 2015. Refuses to provide me with information that I need concerning my case. She also has sporadically cooperated with counselors, case managers, community advocates and liaisons to help me with services to mee...t my day to day needs. She failed to pull police reports I made concerning my safety while I resided in canton forcing me to move to safer conditions based on the kindness of others. Linda has been rude to myself ans thise who worked with me to better my life and situation. At times she has made. Disparaging color related statements. Suggesting that I sold my couch for weed. Do yourself a favor and do not hire this attorney. She lines her pockets with the ignorance of the poor, uninformed,and disadvantaged.
