N/AOUTCOME: We won a large jury verdict. Upheld on appeal.
Ms. Crenshaw took her Lincoln Continental to a shop for repairs. The shop did unauthorzed work, in excess of the price agreed upon. When Ms Crenshaw refused to pay more than she owed, the shop refuse ... d to release the car. We sued for breach of contract, violations of Ohio's Consumer Sales Practices Act, conversion and fraud. The jury awarded our client a substantial judgment that was then trebled by the judge pursuant to Ohio's Consumer Sales Practices Act. The verdict was upheld on appeal.
