I payed her a $3500 retainer after my divorce when I had a custody issue in juvi for medical neglect. She told me what paperwork to file (which now has me in a 2 yr custody battle); forensic and now have realized how much trouble her advice has cost me and my children. She then sends me an email th...e day before the hearing and says she is withdrawing she is too busy. I took 2 weeks off from work to get everything copied and organized that she asked for before the hearing. Lost that work then she refused to return my retainer for doing nothing. I ran p and got everything I gave her and starting frantically looking for another attorney, and she then lies to the court she cannot represent me since I took all of the paperwork and she did not have any files from me. I asked for my retainer back she argues I did not pay. I send her receipts, most in cash and credit cards, she likes cash and 3 weeks later I get invoices for things she never ever did and refused to return it.
