A young man was killed by a bear in American Fork Canyon, Utah. The bear attacked campers earlier the same day at the same location. An employee of the USA Forest Service received notice of the first ... attack hours before the second attack. The employee did nothing after receiving notice of the attack to warn the campers, close the camping area, or work with the State to prevent other attacks. No warnings were given to the family of the prior attack.
