I am so glad I accepted a referral to Joel Reed's firm. Joel's savvy legal expertise  and thoroughness, coupled with his patience and compassion made a difficult family law process manageable.  I also want to compliment Sue, and especially, Julie for their supportive assistance; I couldn't have asked... for a better legal team. 

We are deeply indebted to Joel Reed's skill and effectiveness. After my sister was killed unexpectedly in an accident leaving behind little ones under 10, my mother and I found ourselves having to grapple with a custody struggle on top of everything else. My niece's father was adamant about taking s...ole custody even though she'd grown up living with my mother. Feedback from other lawyers suggested that my mother gaining custody was such a longshot that it wasn't much worth the attempt. However, we were - very fortunately! - referred to Joel from another lawyer who wasn't able/willing to take on our case. I met with Attorney Reed because I was experiencing difficulties with my Shared Parenting Plan and seeing my Son. Attorney Reed was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and most importantly able to clearly explain to me a plan of action. I knew immediately he was the attorney I needed to represe...nt me.
