Greg graduated from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio with a B.A. in English and a Minor in Legal Studies, Cum Laude. He then attended the School of Law at the University of Akron, Ohio, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. During law school, in addition to his studies, Greg volunteered with legal services to assist low-income clients with a variety of legal issues, and worked at Housing Advocates, Inc. as the Real Access Now program coordinator. He was subsequently awarded the Perantinides & Nolan Scholarship for outstanding pro bono service. Following law school, he opened his own solo practice based in his hometown of New Philadelphia, Ohio. As the oil and gas industry began to invest in the area, his practice became increasingly involved in oil and gas title research and curative issues, and he made connections both within the industry and with local landowners. In addition to his legal practice, he also served as the title supervisor for an oil and gas brokerage firm, overseeing all title operations. Greg is active with his local church, volunteers at the Southeast Ohio Legal Services free legal clinic, and participates in the Ohio Attorney General's Victims of Crime Compensation program, assisting domestic violence victims with obtaining civil protection orders.
