Tice v. City of West Jordan
Jul 21, 2014OUTCOME: After a six day trial, the jury found that the defendants were negligent and that damages were $2,411,052. In addition to recovering compensation for the families, I convinced some of the defendants to take measures to remedy the hazard.
Two individuals drowned in a river because of a manmade hazard. I represented the families of the individuals who drowned. I brought the case against the defendants who were responsible for different ... aspects of the hazard. KSL News, Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune each did an article on the case. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=968&sid=30815103 http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865607370/Jury-awards-24M-in-death-of-kayakers-in-2010.html http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/news/58212203-78/river-jordan-deaths-fault.html.csp
