One of the major questions of the case was whether or not Wife was entitled to 1/2 of the value of a home. The home was purchased outrightly (no mortgage) with proceeds from the sale of a home owned ... by Husband prior to marriage but Wife lived in that prior home as well and contributed to some mortgage, taxes, and utilities. When the prior home was sold, the new home was purchased and put into both Husband's and Wife's names.
