I went to Mr. Bad lawyer with a first offense DUI case and initially he said it was winnable and I would have no problems. So I hired the man. Paid him 1250.00 went to court and he did his thing and then consulted with me and told me that the magistrate had offered a deal. dropped a drug possession... and a turn signal violation and plead no contest to a BAC test and a seat belt violation. He said we couldn't argue the BAC test. So I took the deal. Well turns out I did have a winnable case. I talked to my son who is an officer of the law now. I explained my situation and the initial stop by the Highway Patrol. I'm disabled so there were sobriety test that were not done. The one that was done was the eye test and it was not preformed in front of a camera which is required by law. Now I know. To late. I'm on one years reporting probation, I'm confined to my county for one year have an 8o'clock curfew for a year. All because my lawyer was a lemon. My son said there's not a judge around that gives you a curfew and confines you to your own county.... To be continued.......
