Client recently requested assistance in preserving assets and obtaining Medicaid coverage. Approximately 200,000 was at risk of being paid for long term care. Provided assistance to the spouse not i ... n the facility which enabled him to preserve all of the $200,000 at risk. There was no spenddown required and the spouse was able to preserve all assets for his retirement needs.
