I don’t know how he is getting 5 stars he is a terrible lawyer. From the very beginning he gave me the wrong advice. Then his assistant blamed it in the trustee. She’s tough he didn’t know. That’s his job to know. Initially it was a decent payment then the trustee doubled it because of his bad advice.... Told him I needed a new roof he told me to claim it on my insurance as weather related. That would have been a lie because it wasn’t caused by the weather. So that was illegal advice. Told assistant we probably need to voluntarily dismiss because we couldn’t afford. She said we could do that and they would just write off their fee. Another lie. Maurice never called us to explain about having it dismissed which he should have done to explain what would happen. He didn’t earn the $4000+ we had to pay him. Maybe if your bankruptcy was easy he can do the job. Otherwise he’s terrible. We are worse off now than before I first spoke to him.
