Biography
Attorney Brian L. Coffman is a solo practitioner in Akron, Ohio. The majority of his practice is devoted to the art of criminal defense and he is dedicated to providing quality representation at a fair rate. A lifelong resident of Portage County, Attorney Coffman appears in all courts there as well as most courts in northeast Ohio.
After graduating summa cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration, I graduated from the University Of Akron School Of Law. I was admitted to practice by the Ohio Supreme Court in 1998 and to the federal bar in 2004. I am a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Bar Associations of Akron and Portage County, as well as the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Since 2008, I have served on the Board of Directors of the Portage Animal Protective League and I participate in various annual charity events.
