Alanna Sue Arnold

Having been trained by the Cleveland Mediation Center, Ms. Welling-Arnold has been a trained mediator since 2004.  At that time, she was involved in meditations at the CMC.  She has continued to supplement that training through seminars offered by the Mediation Association of Northern Ohio.

For the past several years, as part of her duties as a Guardian-ad-litem in the Domestic Relations Court,  Ms. Welling-Arnold has mediated visitation and parenting arrangements between divorcing and divorced parents.

The law firm of Alanna S. Welling-Arnold, Esq. was established in Medina, Ohio, in 2001, although Ms. Welling-Arnold practiced law in New Orleans, Louisiana, prior to coming to Medina, from 1991 until 2001 with the law firm of Milling Benson.  She has nearly 25 years of courtroom and administrative and transactional law experience.  She is also an accomplished legal researcher and writer, frequently doing researching and writing for other attorneys.  She is admitted to  the following courts:

Ms. Welling-Arnold graduated from Loyola Law School of New Orleans, Louisiana in 1991 with Law Review honors.  In her first year of law school, she was awarded the Am Jur Tort II Merit Award and was first in her class.  She is a graduate of Kent Statue University, holding both a B.A. (3.69/4.0) and M.A. (4.0/4.0) in Sociology.  She received an Outstanding Scholarship Award from KSU.

For several years, Ms. Welling-Arnold has volunteered to help judge the annual moot court competition for high school students. In May 2015, Ms. Welling-Arnold received the Volunteer of the Year Award for her work for Community Legal Aid of Northeast Ohio.  In May 2016 she was recognized as a Distinguished Alumni by her high school: Canton Lincoln High School. She has served on non-profit boards and worked on fundraising committees.  She is currently the President-Elect of the Medina County Bar Association and President of the non-profit HANDS Across Medina County. She is very active in her community.
