Doug focuses his practice on real estate, general corporate and business law, along with commercial litigation.
Mr. Bloom represents a wide variety of closely held and small to middle market companies in the manufacturing, retail, service and distribution industries. Doug facilitates the completion of acquisitions, sales, refinances, business combinations and entity formations.
Doug advises clients on corporate, real estate, lending, contractual, employment matters and secured transactions.
Mr. Bloom also has extensive experience litigating commercial, real estate, tort, employment, non-competition and real estate tax cases.
Mr. Bloom has extensive experience representing clients in the entertainment industry.
In addition, Doug has vast knowledge and experience with educational law through his representation of charter schools and sponsors of charter schools.
The Ohio Super Lawyers publication named Mr. Bloom a ‘Rising Star’ in 2010, 2012 and 2013.
Doug received his B.A. from The Ohio State University in 1996 and his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, cum laude, in 2001. While attending Ohio State, Doug served as the Captain of the Men’s Tennis Team and was named First Team All-Big Ten Conference for the years 1993-1996.
