For any type of commercial real estate, property taxes can account for a significant percentage of the property owner's expenses. I can help a property owner determine if their real estate is fairly valued. If it's overvalued, I can guide a property owner through the county Board of Revision process (there are 88 counties in Ohio), the Board of Tax Appeals (there is one BTA, which is located in Columbus), and the appeals process (I've been part of 50 cases that have made their way to the Supreme Court of Ohio).

I've helped a large national retailer fight to get their day in court, when the local board of revision AND the board of tax appeals said they were barred from filing a tax complaint.

I've helped a developer obtain a fair valuation of a mixed-use project which included market-rate retail, market-rate apartments and designated affordable rent apartments obtain the benefit of Ohio's law regarding the valuation of low income housing.

I've helped numerous smaller, real estate investors improve the cash-flow of their rental properties.
