Following her internship, Ms. Blumenthal worked at a large firm in business litigation and then as a solo practitioner. She represented clients in a panoply of matters, including defending a permanent resident in a criminal case. Ms. Blumenthal’s diverse experience in varied sectors of the legal field and her passion for immigration law provide her the legal prowess to provide excellent service to her clients.
Ms. Blumenthal graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University with a BA in English. During college, she was a member of The Ohio State University Persian Club and volunteered as a conversation partner with international students, helping them hone their English language skills. During law school, Ms. Blumenthal took a cross-national human rights course and travelled to India, where she and classmates collaborated with a local non-profit and Indian law students to present human rights concerns to government officials. Ms. Blumenthal has long had a passion for serving people. As the daughter of immigrants from Iran, Ms. Blumenthal has first-hand knowledge of the challenges of navigating United States immigration laws. She has cousins who are in the United States on student visas and others who are permanent residents. Her parents and siblings are naturalized citizens. She values her heritage and is currently studying to improve her working knowledge of Persian to become fluent.
