Biography
Katherine “Katie” Laney attended law school at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She attained her Juris Doctor degree in 2019 and graduated magna cum laude. Prior to law school Katie graduated magna cum laude from John Carroll University in 2016, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
Katie joined Elk & Elk as a law clerk in 2017, and after two years assumed the role of an attorney. Before that, she served as a judicial extern to Judge Christopher A. Boyko at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. She also interned in the Juvenile Division of the Cuyahoga County Public Defender’s Office.
