With years of intensive courtroom experience, Attorney Heather Dyer, has the expertise necessary to confidently and effectively represent Northeast Ohio clients in all aspects of family law including, divorce, dissolution, child custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, adoptions, LGBTQ+ rights, modifications and restraining orders. She served as a Guardian ad Litem for minors in hundreds of cases, advocating for their best interest in custody matters.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business and Organizational Communications as an honors student at the University of Akron, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Akron Bar Association and the Cleveland Metro Bar Association. Attorney Johnston has served as a mediator and is also certified in Collaborative Divorce.
Attorney Dyer is originally from Central Ohio. After graduating from college she migrated to Florida to enjoy the sunshine and attend law school, eventually returning to Northeast Ohio to practice law and raise a family. She resides on the west side of Akron with her youngest child, her two dogs and a cat.
