I am an Ohio trial attorney focusing my practice on family law, juvenile court, and child-centered litigation, with approximately five years of criminal law experience and more than six years of daily courtroom practice in Lorain County and Cuyahoga County Juvenile Courts. I represent parents, grandparents, and caregivers in CPS defense, private custody disputes, juvenile delinquency matters, divorce, and related proceedings.

I bring extensive trial and evidentiary hearing experience to cases involving Children Services agencies and contested private custody matters. I am particularly experienced in complex cases involving children with special needs, where custody, services, and educational accommodations intersect. These matters often require careful analysis of medical records, school documentation, and service plans, as well as coordination across multiple systems affecting a child’s care and stability.

In CPS matters, I have successfully obtained dismissals at the Probable Cause and Initial Disposition stages, outcomes that are relatively rare and reflect early-stage advocacy, strategic motion practice, and thorough preparation.

I also practice juvenile delinquency defense, representing minors accused of acts that would constitute criminal offenses if committed by an adult, with a focus on protecting due process rights and minimizing long-term consequences.

In addition, I have represented adults in criminal matters, including OVI cases in multiple Ohio counties, as well as domestic violence-related charges. I have experience with private custody appeals and do not shy away from controversial or high-conflict cases. I am known for communicating effectively with pro se litigants, opposing counsel, guardians ad litem, prosecutors, and the court, and for explaining complex legal processes in clear, practical terms.

I also have experience in education law matters involving FAPE and have assisted parents in advocating for reasonable accommodations and services for students with disabilities.

I built my law firm from the ground up, beginning my practice by meeting clients in library study rooms and rented conference spaces before establishing a full practice. That foundation continues to shape how I practice law today: practical, prepared, and deeply committed to my clients and their cases.
