Nancy Haas Burroughs

Nancy earned her B. A., cum laude – Economics, from Denison University and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in 1979.  She then continued her education at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, was a member of the Cleveland State Law Review (1980-1982), and served as Issue Editor (1981-82).  During her law studies, she was also the research assistant to the Dean of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (1979-1982), and graduated in 1982 with her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude.

Residing in the Chagrin Valley area, Nancy became "Of Counsel" at the firm in 2010.  Before joining Thrasher, Dinsmore & Dolan, she had been in private practice, serving clients’ needs throughout northeastern Ohio.  Nancy takes pride in the close working relationships she has developed with her clients over the last 30+ years.  Her civil law practice focuses primarily on Personal Injury claims, including post settlement resolution of private health insurance matters, Medicare issues and claims, as well as Medicaid subrogation resolution.  Nancy also serves as a "behind the scenes attorney" providing additional assistance to her fellow attorneys at the firm in complex litigation, business, insurance, and probate matters.
