This is my second review to Margaret Wong Immigration Attorney since last year. I granted my Asylum case back to December 2014. After a year as an Asylee status and eligibility for my Adjustment Status to Lawful Permanent Resident, I decided to engage Margaret Wong Team to follow up my I-485 submis...sion. I can say they are handling my cases from very beginning to the end carefully. Their professionalism lead my filing running smooth and much more faster than expected. Today March 15th 2016, I am so delighted to receive my approval Green Card on hand. It's just two and the half months I got my Green Card approved after the submission. My whole process from Asylum granted to LRP status is almost 16 months duration. Sound like so simple, in fact, it was not that easy and we have been went through many obstacles and of course well prepare will lead to success at the end. My Asylum file as thick as telephone directory therefore, I can see how well they were preparing my case. I applied my Asylum case after 11 years at USA and it is extremely over a year limited time frame. But, thanks to the exceptional circumstances applied on my case in order my case has been accepted by USCIS. I was so hopeless in the past back to year 2014, I thought that is no way to obtain my legal status here, but everything is changed after I met Margaret Wong. Team work is the key, my case was handling with their individual expertise team member from filling my I-589 to I-485. I don't mind my cases handling from one department to another, as long as they know my case history as well as my family member will do. Many friends said my case is expensive compare to market price, but I always believe it is worth it. Now, I can said my choices is absolutely right with no regret. From our experience it should be noted that people having cases or in need of legal advice within the United States Immigration System need to be very aware that these cases can take very long periods of time and require: extremely large amount of paperwork, back up documentation, official submissions, and fees to the Federal Government. The attorneys have massive caseloads which can be greatly helped by the client in obtaining, providing, and copying all records such as: certified copies of birth certificates, tax returns, marriage licenses, copies of passports, back ground checks, arrest records, etc. In our experience providing records and mass copying helped expedite the processing time of the case. Expecting all of this back up work to be done by your attorney or para legal slows down your cases processing time and increases chances for errors and omissions. My spouse and I have only the highest praises for Margaret Wong & Associates. Allison Chan in particular successfully navigated our case through the numerous obstacles and pitfalls to a successful outcome. In our initial visit, Margaret Wong laid out a multi-tiered legal flow chart of our case which included how various outcomes within the processing of the case could play out. In the end, the path of our case exactly followed her flow chart and was resolved closely within the time frame she stated it would take to be resolved. Margaret Wong & Associates is a fairly large immigration legal firm. The depth of knowledge and number of staff members they possess was very beneficial for our case. This was due to specialized staff members were available to quickly advise and work on aspects of our case helping with the preparation for our attorney. The cost of competent legal services are high, but the cost was very much worth it to my spouse and I.
