Margaret Wong didn’t not get to our appointment until almost 3 hours into my boyfriend and I arriving at her office. We received a call confirmation that Mrs. Wong would be doing the consultation but her assistant did our initial consultation which we did not agree to. Margaret rushed our consultatio...n, she was not very nice to us and I was very shocked and displeased. She made several comments that were completely unnecessary and she apologized to my boyfriend and I because she knew it was really out of line her comments. We were there to discuss my boyfriends deportation order and get an explanation of how to place a new motion with the board of immigration appeals. I had to stop Margaret during the meeting because she was not explaining to my boyfriend how the process would work and the forms needed. He didn’t fully understand, we could tell she was rushing. I’m very disappointed with our consultation mostly because she did not look at his 250 page document we brought, but Margaret smiled through out the meeting and was trying to assist us the way she knew how. Unfortunately she made several assumptions about us personally through out the consultation that turned the meeting into a very bad experience for us. We don’t intend on returning unless it’s to collect our consultation fee that we requested back after the meeting. Please avoid this office!

I had a terrible experience with this firm. I give one star because there's no way to give it zero. I went to her because I heard advertising at a radio station. She offered me a solution that later I learned was the worst I could have ever done. Though I wasn't feeling completely confident with the ...solution she offered, I fell for all she said and gave her $1,500 to start my process. She said I needed the FOIA report and filled out the form. On the next day, I changed my mind and told her I didn't want to follow her advice (which btw was to enter in a deportation process and then ask for a pardon and get a legal status while the government approved the immigration reform) and she said that it was ok, I asked her how I could get my money back and she told me that my money (ALL MY $1,500) had gone towards the FOIA report and there was no way to get it back!! I got mad but accepted it because it was my fault for deciding going to her. This report NEVER came!! Apparently she never submitted it, as she called me months later saying that they had just sent it and that it was going to take a couple of months. I, honestly, never went back. All I can recommend to people about this attorney, is to stay away from her!! P.S. All I'm saying are facts.

I had Margeret Wong handled my H1B case last year. I have a communication major and marketing certificate from a US college. My job function is marketing related. When I approached Margeret, she sugarcoated that the case will be well handled and I believed her based on the 'good' reviews she got onl...ine. Please be aware: You can only get your H1B visa approved if your job function is closely related to the highest degree you have. In my case, it is inapplicable. However, she overlooked the fact and said that she can argue that my marketing certificate is equivalent to a bachelor degree. I thought that she really had that credibility, but the reality is that she went to a shady website online for academic evaluation, which you can acquire it yourself for $80. After I paid them $5000 for the service, I never heard back since. Unless I reached out, they never gave me any updates. After more than half year of waiting, I finally heard back from them telling me my case was rejected. She knew that my case would not approve from the beginning, but she lied and charged outrageous amount of money. My case was probably sitting on their desks and returned to me after a good half year.

We traveled all way from Cincinnati to Cleveland for appointment with her and she did not meet us or inform us ahead that she cannot meet us that day. Instead she send another lawyer who specializes in deportation cases and has no answers to our questions. She wrote down all the questions we had and ...said she will talk to her and call us back. But we never got a call or any answers to our questions. We had high hopes and expectations from her to give us a direction. My friends had very good experience and suggested her. But i was not satisfied by their advice. She must be a big shot in US but we paid fee for nothing. This is not what i would expect from a professional in US

Hi I had my case with Margaret Wong back in 2008 , and I paid everything in full because she promised that she had the experience to keep my case in court till my wife become a citizen and I can adjust my status but that was just a false promise because it was not even possible plus she requested... a voluntary departure which baring me from adjusting my status for 10 years and she did Not even explain to me anything , i donot recommend her to any body please avoid her because I suffered a lot and so many years because of her mistakes she only gives false promises and ask to pay a lot of money I paid more than 15000 and she complicated my case and made me suffered
