Jacob Hailperin-Lausch

I am a pragmatic attorney who helps businesses of all sizes navigate complex legal challenges, protect their assets, and close high-stakes deals. My practice spans the entire lifecycle of a business—from initial formation and day-to-day operations to major asset acquisitions, real estate deals, and exits (and the litigation that can happen in between).

- Real Estate & Construction: I view real estate through a full-cycle lens—guiding clients through site acquisition, due diligence, land use and zoning, financing, leasing, and disposition. I take full ownership of the deal process, managing stakeholders, surveys, title commitments, and regulatory reviews to keep transactions moving without delay.

- Telecommunications & Infrastructure: I have deep experience in telecommunications assets, particularly rooftop asset acquisitions, having successfully closed hundreds of acquisitions for private equity clients. I also have experience dealing with the zoning and regulatory hurdles related to the deployment of telecommunications and data center assets.

- Corporate Transactions & Business Advising: From drafting foundational purchase agreements, joint ventures, and key transactional instruments to advising on general corporate governance, community association matters, and exits.

- Dispute Resolution & Litigation: I am a fearless advocate for clients with an eye for pragmatic solutions when dealing with commercial disputes in state and federal courts, I provide strong, creative advocacy when litigation becomes necessary.

I earned my J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law (where I served on the Journal of International Law board and won best orator in the Dean Dunmore Moot Court Competition) and my B.A., cum laude, from the College of Wooster. Over my career, I’ve gained invaluable perspective running my own practice, working within boutique and AmLaw firms, and representing diverse clients ranging from small-business owners to Fortune Five Hundred companies.

I pride myself on being highly responsive, practical, and deeply committed to clear communication. I always welcome connecting with small-to mid-sized business owners, real estate developers, and fellow professionals seeking trusted counsel for transactional or civil litigation matters.

In my free time, I am passionate about volunteering for the College of Wooster’s pre-law department to mentor the next generation of lawyers. At home, I enjoy spending time with my wife, our four cats, and our dog.
