Christopher Barrett Wick

I am a corporate restructuring and bankruptcy partner with Hahn Loeser and Parks LLP.  I also have substantial experience representing and advising companies, buyers, and investors in all aspects of distressed and insolvency situations.  I have counseled boards of directors, chief executive offices and other members of senior management with respect to their duties and obligations to, and exposures in connection with, financially challenged companies

Using a strong network of local counsel, I practice across the United States.  He has represented parties in the restructuring, reorganization or sale of complex business in an array of industries, including automotive, agriculture, telecommunications, logistics, manufacturing, real estate, and steel.  I also has a broad range of transactional experience and has advised clients in connection with a variety of DIP financing facilities, recapitalization transactions, and asset dispositions and acquisitions.

I'm admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and Western District of Michigan.  I have written articles for the ABI Journal and other periodicals on issues arising out of Chapter 11 cases. I regularly have been listed in the “Ohio Rising Stars” by Ohio Super Lawyers since 2005, is a member of the Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2007, and a former finalist for Inside Business magazine’s Top 25 Under 35 Movers & Shakers.

I have participated on the executive board of the Friends of the Achievement Centers for Children since 2007, which organizes the organization’s “A Most Excellent Race” event.  In addition, I regularly provide pro bono legal representation through the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Bankruptcy By-Pass Program and volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
