Will not fight for you. You are better off with a public defender. She’s a rookie with a poor attitude and poor communication skills. No amount of money will make her do a good job. She treated me like I was an inconvenience. I will warn people about her, whoever needs a lawyer. I took the plea deal ...because I couldn’t afford another attorney and I didn’t trust her. She made the judge sound worse than she actually was. It was the judge that gave me a chance. After this, with my experience, I wouldn’t trust trust any of those lawyers downtown. They will just take your money and get you off of their desk. My word of advice. Ask questions and if they don’t treat you right FIRE them early don’t waste another dime. They can careless about your freedom innocent or guilty.
