Greta Elaine Fifner

Absolutely terrible experience. Greta Fifner was completely one-sided and showed clear favoritism toward the mother in my case. For over a year, I repeatedly asked for her help in stopping my child's mother from cutting our court-ordered phone calls short—and she refused to take any meaningful action.... Instead of advocating for fairness, she created outlandish “rules” that even went as far as saying I couldn’t take my child on a simple bike ride. Completely unprofessional. After doing some research, I found I’m not the only father who’s had similar issues with her. If you are assigned Greta, do yourself a favor: keep everything in writing. She’s notorious for denying things said over the phone, so email is your only real record. In my experience, she seemed more interested in billing hours than actually helping the child or maintaining neutrality. Her priorities? Money, money, and more money. I would strongly advise anyone—especially fathers—to proceed with extreme caution.

Greta is disorganized, does not go over paperwork thoroughly, does not even check her paperwork in court, does not ask questions to witnesses who have witnessed said issues, does not call other witnesses regarding the case, Does not make all children comfortable, does not treat family respectfully,... forgets details, does not seem to understand the minutia of domestic violence from a perpetrator, nor does she seem to care about how this violence effects the entire family. I was very shocked at her disregard of a parent not providing proper meds. to kids, and continually protecting the perpetrator and their negligence. I would never advise anyone to go to her. She is tired, sloppy and devoid of any bedside manner!

If you want your divorce to go on and on and on... needlessly, then hire Greta Fifner. She does not respond to correspondence in a timely manner, at all. She fails to file legal documents and/or return legal documents in (again) a timely manner. So if you have intentions to move on with your life aft...er getting divorced, DO NOT hire Greta Fifner!! The divorce will never happen because she is horribly unprofessional.
