We all know Attorneys are expensive and no one wants to open the yellow pages and take a chance with just anyone they see. Joe Lanter represented me on two occassions and I would recommend his services to anyone in need of counsel. He was professional, courteous, informative, and reasonably pri...ced. In 2012, I retained Joe for my Custody and Support case which settled in 2014 (standard time for these cases). I explained what I was looking to obtain and Joe communicated clearly ALL the scenerios so when things progressed I was not caught off guard and was able to make an informed decision. In addition, my job as a Flight Attendant was unique to most 9am-5pm financial and parenting time guidelines. Joe took the time to understand my life and my childs needs so he could convey them properly to the Court for the best possible outcome. I was awarded sole custody, and the support amount and terms close to what I wanted. In 2015, after my sons Father refused to pay Medical Bills (for our child) clearly outlined in our recent Support Order, I contatced Joe again. He explained all possible scenerios so I could decide for myself whether or not I wished to persue legal action. I retained Joe and he kept me informed throughout the process. On the day of the trial, he was sucessful yet again. The defendant was found guilty of contempt, ordered to pay attorney fees, Medical Bills and copying fees/court costs. Although Joe is qualified to handle multiple areas of law, I have only had to utilize his expertise in the area of Family Law. Should I need counsel again, he will be my choice and will be highly recommended to family and friends.
